- Established over 23 years ago as MAXWELL Heavy Equipment Corporation, Citimax Group Inc. (CGI) has evolved into a dynamic and diversified company. Initially specializing in the importation and rental of heavy-duty professional equipment, the company transitioned in 2003 to offer a broad range of products and services, including industrial demolition services and environmental land remediation.
- Expertise in Quarrying and Demolition
- Citimax, through its subsidiary HARDROCK Aggregates, Inc., has become one of the largest producers of aggregates in the Philippines. Its extensive experience in safe deconstruction solutions was demonstrated when it partnered with Euro Dismantling Services Ltd. (EDS) for the demolition of Shell Philippine Petroleum Corporation’s (SPPC) oil refinery in Pililla, Rizal. This collaboration equipped Citimax with unparalleled technical expertise in the safe and efficient demolition of industrial facilities.
- Expanding into Mining Operations
- By 2011, Citimax diversified its portfolio to include mining operations across three facilities:
- A nickel mine in Palawan
- A basalt quarry in Antipolo
- Silica reserves in Roxas, Palawan
