Shell Pililla Refinery (Malaya, Pililla, Rizal)

In 2003, Euro Dismantling Services (EDS) partnered with CITIMAX for the demolition of the Shell PPC Refinery in Pililla, Rizal. CITIMAX supplied the demolition equipment, machine operators, and comprehensive local logistical support for the project.

Valued at USD 12 million, the project successfully recovered approximately 20,000 metric tons of metal scrap through the use of advanced hydraulic shears. The demolition was completed with an outstanding safety record of 420,000 man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI). In addition, environmental remediation works were incorporated into the project scope and carried out under the supervision of a Shell-appointed environmental remediation contractor.
